Sociology online – only from Bemidji State!
Bemidji State is the only Minnesota State university to offer a convenient online bachelor’s degree-completion program in Sociology.
Do issues of social inequality, diversity, and social justice resonate with and excite you?
A degree in Sociology allows you to study the diversity of human experience and how institutions, organizations and other forms of social structures shape human well-being, as well as perpetuate social inequities. You can expect to develop your capacity to learn new information, improve your writing and speaking skills and become more statistically literate.
These skills are in high demand across a variety of career fields, including medicine, law, law enforcement, human resources, education, non-profit organizations, public sector and government, data analysis and political organizing. The program can also prepare you for graduate school, which may lead to opportunities in analysis and research for public or private firms.
